OAC is
Oracle Analytics Cloud, a PaaS service offered by Oracle. Its launched in 2014.
Around 1400+ customers are already using as of May 2017.
As we all
know BICS is already in market and it is offered under SaaS by Oracle. So what's
new and why we need OAC is what we understand next in this blog.
BICS is an
Oracle managed and OAC is Customer/Partner managed - major change in cloud
offerings by Oracle.
