ENTERPRISE DATA
MANAGEMENT
ARGUMENT LABELS FOR EXPRESSION METHODS: The Expression
Builder sets out categories for expression methods statements.
COPY EXPRESSION TO CLIPBOARD AS TEXT: "Expressions
can be copied as text to the browser clipboard and pasted to another client
application, such as an email, instant message, document, or web page"
SIBLINGS ATTRIBUTE AND TRIM METHOD IN EXPRESSIONS: Siblings of a
hierarchical node can be available for evaluation of their data in an
expression. The attribute Siblings is valid for object Node. For String
data types in expressions, the Trim method is available to delete leading or
trailing white space from string values.
TRANSFORM NODE NAME DURING NODE TYPE CONVERSION: Using a "property
transformation in a node type changer, node names for target viewpoints can be
calculated when sharing, mapping or synchronizing nodes across applications"
DERIVED VALUES AND PROPERTY TRANSFORMATIONS FOR BOOLEAN
PROPERTIES: Boolean data type properties can be configured using the
custom business logic with an expression to extract a value or transform a
value for the property. For Boolean properties expressions must return a true
or false value.
ENHANCED COMPARISON OF PROPERTIES WITH DISPLAY VALUES: When comparing
Boolean data type properties for viewpoint nodes, the relation matches the
internal value, rather than the "configured display value (Yes / No, Y / N, T /
F)". By comparing String data type properties with a set of approved values,
the relation matches the values of both the Code and Show in the list. It
avoids inconsistencies when comparing String properties with different code /
display values using conversion of node sort.
EXPANDED LIST OF INVALID CHARACTERS FOR PROPERTIES: The String and
Memo properties parameter for Invalid Characters offers an expanded list of
selectable special characters.
CHANGE PARENT FOR INVALID REQUEST ITEM USING DRAG AND DROP: "You can drag
and drop the request item from the Requests pane to a parent node in the
viewpoint to change the parent for the item and solve the problem for request
items that have a missing or invalid parent"
COPY AND MODEL AFTER NODE IN VIEWPOINT: Nodes can be
copied from a viewpoint to create incipient nodes based on the node template
that was copied.
IMPROVED FILE NAME HANDLING FOR DIMENSION EXPORTS: When exporting
an application aspect to a file, the file name now created by default in the
format: Application Name_ Dimension Name_ Date. For instance,
Planning_Account_20200101.csv. Where applicable, the default file name may be
overridden before exporting the element.

insertion rules.
IN THE CONFIGURABLE CALCULATION YOU WILL WRITE TO THREE
ADDITIONAL MEMBERS OF THE MOVEMENT FCCS_30_AFTER OPENING BALANCE CARRY
FORWARD_TRANSLATED AND FCCS_40_FINAL_CALCULATIONS_TRANSLATED INSERTION
RULES. The members are:
"FCCS_MVMTS_FX_OPENING
FCCS_MVMTS_FX_MOVEMENT
FCCS_MVMTS_FX_TO_CTA"
PARTNER ELIMINATION SUPPORT IN CONSOLIDATION RULES: Configurable
Consolidations now permits you to redirect the data of the source Entity to the
entity's sibling. You can create a rule-set on Partner Elimination IF THE
PARTNER ELIMINATION FEATURE HAS BEEN ENABLED FOR THE APPLICATION AND IF ONE OR
MORE RULES ARE TO BE WRITTEN TO A PARTNER ELIMINATION ENTRY WITHIN THE RULE
SET.
ENHANCED METADATA VALIDATION FOR INTERCOMPANY ELIMINATION
MEMBER: The Metadata Validation process now tests and exhibits a warning message
if the member of the Intercompany Elimination is excluded from the member of
the Total Eliminations, or transferred from the Total Data Source.
PERFORMANCE SUBSTITUTION VARIABLES: Performance enhancement
may be enabled by the below substitution variables:
"ENABLESIMPLEAGGREGATION
OPTIMIZEDBREFRESH
OPTIMIZEYTDCALCULATION"
NOTE: The degree of
performance enhancement varies widely among distinct applications, as it is
driven purely by application design and delivery of data.
